Job summary

Mendip Vale Medical Group (MVMG) is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our team in our St George's Surgery.

Following the recent merger with Harptree, MVMG is now one of the region's largest primary care organisations, providing high-quality healthcare to approximately 90,000 patients across 11 practice sites spanning Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, and Bath, Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW).

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the continued development of our Harptree practice while benefiting from the support, expertise, and opportunities available within a large, innovative primary care organisation. You will work as part of a friendly and collaborative multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality patient care and continually improving the services we provide.

If you are a motivated Advanced Practitioner looking to make a meaningful impact within a progressive and supportive organisation, we would love to hear from you.

Main duties of the job

To deliver a high standard of patient care as an Advanced Practitioner in general practice, using specialist knowledge, and a broad and in-depth theoretical knowledge base utilising autonomous clinical skills.

Assess, diagnose, plan and implement care for patients presenting with both acute and chronic conditions, within the Surgery and the patients own homes, integrating both drug and non-drug based treatment methods into a management plan.

To implement and operate according to the four pillars of advance practice and in line with the requirements of the NMC/HCPC code of conduct.

About us

As a high-achieving and well-organised practice, we embrace a Multi-Disciplinary Team approach to care provision.

Changes made from merging and working more effectively have enabled us to make investment into our buildings, making our estate one of the newest and brightest in the south west.

Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we regret that we are only able to contact candidates who are shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process.

We would like to thank all applicants for their interest in joining our team and for the time and effort invested in the recruitment process.
