Builders Merchant | Up to £39,000 (dependent on experience)

Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver / HGV Driver looking for a secure, long-term role with a leading Builders Merchant?

Our client is looking to recruit a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver to join their busy team, delivering building materials to trade and residential customers locally.

The Role:

• Driving a Class 2 / HGV vehicle
• Delivering building materials to local customers and sites
• Multi-drop deliveries in the local area
• Loading / unloading where required
• Providing excellent customer service
• Supporting the branch / yard team when needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Class 2 / Cat C / HGV Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card
• Previous experience as a Class 2 Driver / HGV Driver / Delivery Driver
• Experience delivering for a Builders Merchant, timber merchant, plumbing merchant or similar would be highly desirable
• HIAB licence
• Good knowledge of safe loading, vehicle checks and delivery procedures

Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
• 1 in 2 Saturdays: 8:00am - 12:00pm

Package:

• Basic salary up to £39,000 depending on experience
