Class 2 HGV/HIAB Driver

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum
Bonus: £2,000 annual bonus (subject to maintaining a damage-free vehicle record)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
Location: Covering Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV/HIAB Driver to join a well-established and growing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver seeking a permanent position with competitive earnings and an attractive annual bonus scheme.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering materials to customers across Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and with excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle with HIAB equipment safely and professionally.
• Complete up to 2 runs per day.
• Carry out a maximum of 14 drops per day.
• Load, unload and deliver goods using HIAB machinery.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Comply with all transport, health & safety and company procedures.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and damage-free vehicle.

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence.
• Valid HIAB Certification/Licence.
• Previous HIAB driving experience preferred.
• Good geographical knowledge of Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
