Junior Estimator - Geotechnical & Piling
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £50,000
About the Role
An established specialist geotechnical and piling contractor is looking for a Junior Estimator to join their Nottingham team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in piling, geotechnical or civil engineering who is looking to develop their career within estimating and commercial project delivery.

Key Responsibilities of a Junior Estimator
- Assist with preparing tenders and project estimates
- Review drawings, specifications and project requirements
- Obtain and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Prepare cost breakdowns and pricing
- Support the preparation of tender submissions
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and project teams
- Maintain accurate estimating and tender records
- Assist with handovers from estimating to the delivery team
Requirements of a Junior Estimator
- Previous experience within piling, geotechnical or civil engineering
- Understanding of construction costs, materials and site operations
- Good attention to detail
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence desirable
- Happy to travel
