Principle Electrical Engineer (Glasgow)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Principal Electrical Building Services Engineer to join a highly respected multidisciplinary engineering consultancy working on a diverse portfolio of projects across the UK and internationally.
This role offers the opportunity to lead the design and delivery of complex building services projects spanning sectors such as commercial, healthcare, infrastructure, science & technology, industrial and energy.

You'll play a key role in guiding project teams, managing client relationships and driving technical excellence throughout project delivery.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical building services design on a range of high-profile projects.
• Manage project delivery from concept through to completion.
• Act as the technical lead and mentor junior engineers.
• Work closely with clients, architects and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered to programme, budget and quality standards.
• Support business development activities and contribute to winning new work.
• Promote innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.

About You

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership.
• Significant experience delivering electrical building services projects within a consultancy environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK building regulations and industry standards.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage client relationships.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to project delivery.
