Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic Town Planning consultancy who provide a wide range of expertise to the commercial, retail, heritage and residential sectors. They are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Town Planner to hit the ground running for their team in Cheltenham.

Duties for the role of Senior Town Planner:

• Process planning applications and produce reports and recommendations to achieve deliverable outcomes
• Prepare evidence on appeals for internal and external clients
• Provide support and guidance to colleagues and more junior team members
• Contribute to business development by securing repeat work and apply commercial lens to all work undertaken

Requirements for the role of Senior Town Planner:

• Relevant degree within Town Planning or another related discipline
• Chartered or working towards RTPI membership
• Relevant experience working within either local authority or private consultancy
• Ability to manage workloads and meet both commercial and contractual needs of the company
• Ability to work independently across various planning sectors and alongside land owners, developers and industrial sites
• Working knowledge of current and emerging planning legislations
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work well within a team and independently
