About BOQQS
BOQQS is an independent job board for the UK with one rule that sets it apart: every listing states its pay. It is not owned by a recruitment agency, and it is free for job seekers — no account, no paywall, no charge to apply.
Where the listings come from
Employers post directly, and BOQQS also lists vacancies from NHS Jobs, Reed, Adzuna, CV-Library, Careerjet, the government's apprenticeship service and employers' own careers pages. Every listing from a partner is credited to its source, and you apply on the original advert or the employer's own site — BOQQS never collects your application.
Listings are refreshed daily and expire automatically, so a closed vacancy does not sit on the board for months.
The listing rules
- The salary must be stated. Estimates and “competitive” do not count.
- Pay must clear a minimum of £28,000 a year for most professional roles.
- The employer is named wherever the source names it.
- No listing may ask candidates to pay for anything.
- Any listing can be reported, and reports are reviewed by hand.
How BOQQS makes money
Standard listings are free for employers. Employers can pay for a featured listing (£99) or an employer plan (£149 a month) so their roles appear higher up. Some partner listings pay BOQQS a small referral fee when a reader clicks through. Job seekers never pay, and BOQQS does not sell personal data.
