Our High Dependency Service is a growing provision, and we are looking for skilled nurses to join our team.

We provide an excellent experience for children, young people and their families in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Our service includes a 6-bedded Level 2 High Dependency Unit (HDU) at Heartlands Hospital and a paediatric HDU stabilisation bed at Good Hope Hospital. Working across both sites, our specialist team delivers high-quality care to children with a wide range of acute and complex healthcare needs.
Children may be admitted with serious illness, deterioration of a chronic condition, following complex surgery, or as part of a step-down pathway from Paediatric Intensive Care. You will be responsible for delivering safe, effective nursing care, supporting colleagues and contributing to excellent patient outcomes.
At UHB, we value our staff and are committed to supporting professional development through a range of learning opportunities and career pathways.
