Operating through multiple regional offices, the business successfully delivers schemes on time, on budget and to the highest safety and environmental standards.

Your new role
As a Contracts Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple construction projects across the industrial, retail, education and healthcare sectors. Managing schemes ranging from refurbishment works to major new build developments valued up to £30 million, you will oversee projects from pre-construction through to handover.
You will lead and support Project Managers and site teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities will include programme monitoring, resource planning, subcontractor performance management, client liaison, commercial oversight and risk management. You will work closely with operational and commercial teams to drive project performance while maintaining excellent client relationships and identifying opportunities for business growth.

What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, Senior Project Manager or similar leadership role within the construction sector.

• A strong track record of delivering new build and refurbishment projects valued up to £30 million.
• Experience managing projects across sectors such as industrial, retail, education and healthcare.
• Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, programme management and operational delivery.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to oversee budgets, project performance and contractual matters.
• Experience managing multiple projects and site teams simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to lead teams and consistently deliver successful project outcomes.
