We’re recruiting PIP/WCA Functional Assessors in Bournemouth, offering a structured Monday–Friday role with hybrid working.
The role offers:
- £40,000–£42,000 salary
- 5% annual performance bonus
- £1,000 salary increase after 12 months
- Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
- Hybrid working – 3 days in clinic
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Funded CPD and registration fees
- Structured training with DWP accreditation

- Conduct face-to-face, video and telephone assessments
- Assess how health conditions affect functional ability
- Review medical evidence
- Use clinical reasoning and professional judgement
- Produce detailed reports for the DWP
- NMC Registered Nurses – RGN, RMN or RNLD
- HCPC Registered Physiotherapists or Occupational Therapists
- Minimum 12 months UK post-registration experience
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
- Confidence using IT systems
