Trafford Park Competitive Hourly Rate (DOE) 7:30am - 4:00pm 5+ Weeks Duration Immediate Start Available
The OpportunityTime Construction is currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker on behalf of a client working on a civil engineering project in Trafford Park. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy site for a minimum of 5 weeks, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities- Carrying out all aspects of groundworks on a live construction site
- Installing drainage systems and associated pipework
- Stoning, grading and preparing sub-base materials
- Completing concreting and finishing works
- Assisting with excavation and reinstatement works
- Working safely and efficiently as part of the site team
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in groundworks on construction or civil engineering projects
- Experience with drainage installation
- Knowledge of stoning and sub-base preparation
- Experience carrying out concreting works
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures
- A civil engineering or heavy civils background would be highly advantageous
- Valid CSCS Card (preferred)
- Immediate start
- Minimum 5 weeks of work
- Consistent site hours
