Site Manager Role

Location: Oxford/Reading/Swindon

£65,000 + £450 Monthly Car Allowance + Bonus + Private Healthcare

Due to continued growth and a significant portfolio of secured projects, we are seeking a Site Manager to oversee the delivery of new build commercial developments valued between £10m-£20m across Oxford, Reading, Swindon, Newbury and the wider Thames Valley region.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction projects from groundworks through to completion.

Projects typically include:

• New build office developments
• Commercial buildings
• Industrial facilities
• Technology and production facilities
• Medical facilities
• Clean room environments

Project durations typically range between 12-18 months, providing long-term stability and continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing projects from groundworks through to handover
• Leading site teams and direct labour
• Managing groundworks teams and subcontractors
• Working closely with the Contracts Manager
• Ensuring Health & Safety compliance at all times
• Monitoring programme, quality and site performance
• Coordinating trades and site logistics
• Conducting site meetings and progress reporting
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

To be considered, candidates should have:

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Manager
• Experience delivering projects up to £10m-£20m
• New build construction experience
• Experience within:
  
  • Commercial offices
  • Education projects
  • Industrial developments
  • Schools
  • General commercial construction
• Proven track record managing projects over a 9-12 month build programme
• Strong subcontractor and Health & Safety management experience

Essential Qualifications

• SMSTS
• First Aid

• CSCS Card

• £65,000 Basic Salary

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
