The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to stores, depots and distribution centres during night operations.

Duties will include:

• Safe and timely delivery of goods
• Pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections
• Unloading cages, pallets and totes where required
• Collecting returns and completing associated paperwork
• Following all transport and road safety regulations
• Using the Microlise transport management system
• Providing a professional service at all delivery locations
• Maintaining high standards of compliance and customer service

Shift Pattern

• Night shifts working any 5 nights from 6
• No Saturday working
• Start times between 19:00 and 03:00
• Rota provided
• 46 hours per week

Requirements

To be considered for this HGV Class 1 Driver position, you will need:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable and professional approach
