Quantity Surveyors - London (Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days remote)

Join a leading engineering consultancy delivering high-impact infrastructure projects across London. Work on rail, power, roads, and urban development programmes, providing mechanical and electrical subcontract services into large-scale, multi-million-pound projects.

We're looking for proactive, commercial minded Quantity Surveyors who aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. You'll be a confident communicator, able to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and project teams, while keeping a clear focus on budgets, risks, and commercial outcomes. You're personable, hands-on, and solution-focused, thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where every decision counts.

The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll take ownership of commercial management across diverse infrastructure programmes, ensuring costs are controlled, risks are mitigated, and projects are delivered to the highest standard. You'll work on-site and in the London office, supporting teams across design, procurement, and delivery, using NEC contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage budgets, contracts, and commercial risks on complex projects
  • Deliver cost control and commercial reporting across rail, power, and infrastructure programmes
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to meet financial and operational targets
  • Work on-site across London and/or in the office near St Paul's (3 days per week)

Requirements

  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in mechanical/electrical or multidisciplinary infrastructure projects
  • Strong NEC contract knowledge and commercial acumen
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work across multiple projects during design and delivery phases

Why This Role is Exciting
Be part of a company that shapes London's critical infrastructure, delivering large-scale projects that power the city's transport, energy, and urban networks. Work with talented engineers and project teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment where your expertise makes a real impact.
