We are looking for a skilled Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse team in Telford. You will play a key role in keeping goods moving safely and efficiently, working as part of a supportive, well-organised operation.
Key Responsibilities- Operating forklift trucks safely to move, load and unload goods
- Putting away stock accurately in the correct locations
- Picking and preparing orders for dispatch
- Carrying out daily equipment checks and reporting faults
- Keeping the warehouse tidy and following health and safety procedures
- Supporting general warehouse duties when needed
Stock is moved safely and accurately, orders go out on time, and the warehouse runs smoothly with your contribution.
Person SpecificationExperience
- A valid forklift licence (counterbalance and/or reach) is essential
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable
Skills and Knowledge
- Good awareness of health and safety in a warehouse environment
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to work to targets in a fast-paced setting
Personal Qualities
- Reliable, hard-working and safety-conscious
- A flexible team player
- Happy to get involved beyond the forklift when needed
- £33,000–£36,000 per year
- 28 days' annual leave including bank holidays
