Project management is one of the few disciplines where a certificate genuinely moves your salary — but the ones that count (PMP, PRINCE2) are paid exams. These free courses are how you build the knowledge and decide whether the paid certification is worth it before you spend the money.

Free to learn · certificate costs extra
Six courses covering initiation, planning, execution, Agile and a capstone project.
The most complete free-to-audit path, and it maps closely onto what an entry-level PM job actually asks for. Audit it first; buy the certificate only if you want the credential.
The Scrum Guide plus free practice assessments against it.
The Scrum Guide is free and short, and the open assessments are the same style as the paid PSM exam. The cheapest honest way to find out whether you would pass before paying.
Short business and project modules aimed at small enterprise.
Free including certificates, and pitched at people running projects inside small businesses rather than corporate PMOs — closer to a lot of Nigerian working reality.
Check the certificate before you start. Most listings calling a course “free with certificate” are describing a free course with a paid certificate. Where that is the case above, it says so.
Finish one thing. Three half-finished courses are worth less on a CV than one completed, and employers ask what you built, not what you enrolled in.
Terms change. Providers move courses behind subscriptions without notice. These were checked on 31 Aug 2026 — if you find one has changed, the fastest fix is to tell us.
