Where to start
- Get the card. Nearly every UK site checks one at the gate. Practise the CSCS test until you are clearing 90% consistently.
- Write the CV once, properly. The CV builder gives you a PDF in four layouts, with your tickets where a recruiter sees them.
- Know the number before you negotiate. The salary guide shows what your role is actually advertised at, by city and employer.
- Then step up. SSSTS for supervising a gang, SMSTS for running a site — both are the qualification employers ask for by name.
